Mitchell Moses, Zac Lomax, Abbi Church and Mahalia Murphy have each been selected to represent Australia at the upcoming Pacific Championships.
Moses, Lomax and Church will join the Australian Test team for the first time, while Murphy returns to the Green & Gold after a nine-year absence.
Mitchell Moses is in line for his Kangaroos debut following his heroics for NSW in the 2024 State of Origin series.
The Eels no. 7 missed the end of the NRL season with a biceps injury, but is set to make his return in the Test arena after being called up by Mal Meninga.
Zac Lomax will join Moses in Kangaroos camp ahead of his official arrival to Parramatta for the 2025 season.
The 25-year old was recently named in the Dally M Team of the Year, and also stood out for NSW in his debut State of Origin series.
Abbi Church has been selected by the Jillaroos for the first time, adding to her growing list of achievements in 2024.
In the past seven days, Church has been named Dally M Fullback of the Year, nominated for RLPA Player of the Year, won two honours at the Eels NRLW Awards Night, and selected in the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII squad.
Mahalia Murphy has also been named by the Jillaroos for the first time in nine years.
Murphy made a sensational debut for Australia in 2015, scoring three tries in her sole appearance for the Green & Gold. The Eels Captain will now return to the Australian camp after earning selection from coach Brad Donald.
The Kangaroos will face Tonga twice and New Zealand once, while the Jillaroos tackle Papua New Guinea twice and New Zealand once.
The Pacific Championships Finals will be held at Parramatta’s CommBank Stadium on 10 November.
