Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo has now issued a wordless message following a recent post from the club.
The 2023/24 campaign provided Forest with quite the scare following their points deduction but Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side will be playing top flight football once again next season.
A number of players put in impressive displays over the course of the term with the likes of Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White two of the standout performers.
Another player who played an important role in the second half of the season was the Brazilian midfielder Danilo.
The 23-year-old is now enjoying a well-earned break following a tense campaign at the City Ground where it was only on the final day where their safety was mathematically confirmed.
And he has now responded without words on social media following a post the club have made about him earlier this week.
What Danilo replied to Nottingham Forest’s Instagram post
After picking up an injury early on in the season, Danilo made his return into the Forest side more consistently following Nuno’s appointment.
It was in the final stretch where Danilo really provided an influence having returned two goals and an assist in the Premier League during the final eight games.
The 23-year-old completed his first full campaign at the City Ground having made the move from Brazilian side Palmeiras last January.
And his performances in a Forest shirt have clearly gone down well at the club with the club’s Instagram account sharing a special post on Instagram dedicated to the midfielder.
With several photos from his first full season in the Premier League, the post was captioned, ‘Always believe in…”
Danilo was apparently feeling the love from the club and the commenting fans as he reposted it to his story with a smiling and heart emoji.

After 24 appearances under Nuno, the Brazilian has been able to return three goals and two assists across all competitions.
Although Danilo has been recipient of praise from the club on Instagram, he has recently hailed some praise on his manager after keeping Forest afloat.
“He is a great guy, he knows what he wants us to do on the pitch; he has a very specific style. He wants us to have more of the ball, he wants us to play forward and be attack-minded,” Danilo said.
“Working with him, he introduced his style into the way we play. We are almost there when it comes to how he wants us to play.”
