Defensive lineman Tyson Bacon committed to Tennessee football in the 2026 recruiting class on Monday.
He is the second commitment landed by the Vols since they beat Alabama on Saturday. Notably, Bacon is from Hoover, Alabama.
Brandon Anderson, an offensive lineman from Kennesaw, Georgia, committed on Sunday.
Bacon, 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, chose Tennessee after receiving scholarship offers from Florida, Washington, Wisconsin and about a dozen other schools.
Bacon is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 42 defensive lineman in the nation by 247Sports Composite, but he doesn’t have a star rating from every major recruiting site.
He is Tennessee’s fourth commitment in the 2026 class, joining Anderson, five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and three-star tight end Carson Sneed.
