Toronto Blue Jays Sportsnet commentator Jamie Campbell has gone above and beyond for Blue Jays fans once again in most recent announcement.
Campbell has been calling Blue Jays games since 2002 and has taken his job very seriously while also going the extra mile for fans which he has done once again this off-season.
Sportsnet commentator Jamie Campbell goes above and beyond for Blue Jays fans this off-season
In a recent post of social media, Campbell stated that he will once again be calling Blue Jays fans that are feeling isolated or lonely during the off-season just to take about anything and lift their spirits a little bit. Campbell has been doing this for the past few seasons as he asks fans to mail in their contact information and tries to call as many people as he can.
In a tradition that’s been running for a few years now, longtime Sportsnet employee Campbell is asking Blue Jays fans to mail a note to the Sportsnet office if they are feeling lonely or isolated this winter. -Laskaris
If you know a

c/o Sportsnet,

Can’t guarantee a call, but will try! Will NOT respond to DM requests.

Campbell has stated that he began doing this a few years ago because he understands how tough life can be and he likes to use his platform in any way he can to help people.
«It’s basically using the power of my platform – which I could never have imagined chasing back in my days at TMU,» he said to Fitz-Gerald. «What I was chasing then was a career as a sports broadcaster. I could never have envisioned, all these years, that it’s way more than just a means to making a living.»
