Puka Nacua fined for punching Tyrel Dodson in Seahawks vs. Rams game
There’s not a whole lot to report in terms of player fines from the Seattle Seahawks’ 26-20 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but the most notable incident from the game did cost someone a few bucks.
Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua was docked $5,424 for his (not particularly strong) punch of Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson. This occurred following Riq Woolen’s interception of Matthew Stafford toward the end of the first half. Dodson certainly initiated the pleasantries, but throwing a punch is usually a no-no and grounds for an ejection. Not sure what punching someone who’s wearing a helmet accomplishes, but here’s a look at what happened.

Nacua had just one catch in his first game back from injury. Ultimately, the Rams landed the knockout punch via Demarcus Robinson, who caught a season-high 6 passes for 94 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including the game winner.
The good news for the Seahawks out of that loss to the Rams is that for the second time in three weeks, none of their players was fined for an on-field infraction. Hang the banner!
