Oklahoma Sooners send out a bundle of offers to recruits after having a streak of big-time portal grabs

Portal season has become a vital part of the college football calendar, almost as important as recruiting at the high school level. And, the Oklahoma Sooners are doing both at a somewhat high level, despite everything that is being put out there in a narrative about the Sooners.

Yes, things are down from where they should be, as we saw in their inaugural SEC season, as they are now looking for a defensive coordinator and an assistant general manager. But, since the departure of those two, the Sooners have really started to pick up some steam in both areas of recruiting.

Throughout this week, we have seen the Sooners send out a bunch of offers. Here are all of them that we have caught wind of at the time of writing this article:

The Sooners are attempting to bounce back from what was really a terrible 2024 season. Before the 2022 season, when the Sooners finished 6-7, they hadn’t had a losing season since the late 90s, and now they have had two under Brent Venables. So, there is a lot of ground to cover, and it seems they are doing their due diligence in getting the program back to where it’s supposed to be.

It won’t happen overnight, but the guys they have offered above are good football players who could help them get to where they are supposed to be.
