With Tennessee baseball’s National Championship run over, its players have departed Knoxville and reported to different areas where they’re playing their summer baseball.
Twenty four different Tennessee players are playing summer ball while a number aren’t playing due to either injuries, a need for rest or because of the likelihood that they’ll begin their professional careers later this summer.
Two Vols are playing for the USA Collegiate National Team, three are playing in the Cape Cod League, three are playing in the Coastal Plains League, two are playing in the California Collegiate League, two are playing in the Northwoods League and 12 are playing in the Appalachian League.
