The Boston Bruins have been under the leadership of Brad Marchand since Patrice Bergeron’s retirement from the NHL.
Marchand was the obvious next pick after Bergeron’s retirement, given his tenure in the NHL. All the while, he is a natural leader for the Bruins, there were times his maturity was in question.
Marchand himself, is one of the most polarizing personalities in the league, hated or loved depending upon who you talk to. His acts on the ice have leads many to frown upon his name, or let their rage control diatribes against the now Bruins captain.
However, if Marchand would admit to one of his dumbest and immature moments in the NHL?
The Callahan licking incident:
“There’s a few,” admitted Marchand. “A very blatant and obvious one would probably be the Callahan one.”
Marchand would admit he wasn’t proud of the sucker punch of Penguins goalie, Tristan Jarry as well. It was ultimately one of his most regrettable moments:
The one on Jarry wasn’t very smart either,” admitted Marchand.
If there are any moments we missed, share them in the comments!
