George McIntyre responded to a Chad Simmons tweet claiming there will be a surprise commitment coming soon, find out some names to be watching for here.
Tennessee fans have been waiting for that coveted top 10 recruiting class since Josh Heupel has become the coach, and the progress being made this year shows that the Vols may reach their goal.
The Vols have landed two highly coveted four star commits this month as shown by this tweet from Chad Simmons “Saturdays are being good to the Tennessee Vols this month… Last Saturday: Travis Smith commits Today: Christian Gass commits Will it continue? Next Saturday: Lagonza Hayward announces”.
Star quarterback commit George Macintyre then responded saying “Surprise commit coming soon”. This has left many fans speculating as to who this could be.
Some names to be watching for could be a flip from Oregon commit Da’Saahn Brame, who chose Oregon over the Vols a few weeks ago but there has been reporting out of Oregon that a transfer could happen soon. This is not too far of a stretch to believe, as Brame’s girlfriend is currently committed to play soccer at Tennessee. Not only that, but the days before Brame committed, it was reported that Oregon was very nervous and sent the house to land the star tight end.
Another player to watch for is current Georgia commit Jadon Perlotte, as he has been predicted to flip to Tennessee for several weeks, but no official announcement has been made. This would be less of a surprise for Tennessee to get, but it would be a surprise in terms of the timing as we have no idea if or when he will flip.
Overall, if the Vols can continue the recruiting momentum they have picked up this month, then a top 10 finish is almost likely for Coach Josh Heupel
