The top safety in the country sets a visit to the Ohio State football program
The Ohio State football program is very happy to be coming off a national championship. It gives them momentum when it comes to recruiting, as well. They are really starting to lock in on recruiting the 2026 class. Several top prospects have already started to set up visits to Ohio State.
Now that the Ohio State Buckeyes have hired both coordinators and their new offensive line coach, they can actually have guys go on some recruiting trips.The best recruit in the country will be visiting next month. Chris Henry Jr., who is an Ohio State commit already, will also be visiting in the Spring.
Another top prospect has decided that he wants to visit the Buckeyes. It could be the first big recruit that defensive coordinator Matt Patricia would land. He is actually the best safety recruit in the country and is a five-star recruit out of the state of Louisiana.

Blaine Bradford will be visiting the Buckeyes. He is the top safety recruit in the country and has all of the top programs after him. He has mentioned that he will be making his visit to Columbus on June 13th, which will be the second of three official visits he will be making in June.
The other schools that Bradford will be visiting are Texas and LSU. LSU is his hometown team, as he is from Baton Rouge. They probably have the inside edge right now because of that, but Ohio State shouldn’t be counted out. Matt Guerreri has a shot to bring him in.
Ohio State will need to have everything on point when Bradford gets into Columbus. Perhaps Tim Walton will be more involved in the recruiting process than Patricia will be, which would be smart. Patricia isn’t a very personable guy.
The Buckeyes are starting to line up some really strong visits with some of the best recruits in the country. Ohio State is looking to have another top-five recruiting class this year. That has become the norm for this team.
