Wisconsin makes the top 7 and schedules an important visit for 2026 4-star QB
New Wisconsin QB coach Kenny Guiton isn’t wasting any time in his new role recruiting top quarterbacks for the 2026 class. One of the higher priorities for the future QB is a 4-star signal caller from Georgia, Brodie McWhorter, who had more than 30 offers but has recently trimmed his list to only seven schools. Wisconsin made the cut and McWhorter wants to get up to Madison on a visit in the spring.
Brodie McWhorter is down to seven schools and has begun scheduling visits
McWhorter decided that his future school should be one of these seven schools: Indiana, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Auburn, West Virginia, Colorado, or Mississippi State. He has received a 4-star rating from Rivals as well as a composite ranking from 24/7 for 3 stars. It would be a big addition to a 2026 class that can use a future QB.
Wisconsin will be one of the first schools to get a shot at him. He has scheduled a visit with all seven of his finalists, but he plans to visit Wisconsin among the earliest on April 25-27. West Virginia will actually be the first to get him on campus on April 6-8. McWhorter also plans to hit up a few of the spring practices of these final seven. Currently, he doesn’t have a visit scheduled to Wisconsin for a spring practice.
As of now, Wisconsin only has one 2026 commit in Benjamin Novak, who is an offensive lineman. While there are other Big Ten schools with only one commitment in this class, there are others like Oregon that have already locked up 10 commitments. It’s time for Luke Fickell and his staff to begin to put together the future roster and that 2026 recruiting class. Will McWhorter be part of it? He does seem interested, but only time will tell.
