The Las Vegas Raiders recently reworked Maxx Crosby’s contract.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders have reworked Crosby’s contract to give him a $6 million raise for the 2024 season. He still has three years left on his contract but wanted to compensate him a little bit more because of the way he has played.
Crosby has turned into one of the best pass rushers in the NFL over the last five years. He was especially great in 2023, finishing with 90 total tackles, 14.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and two passes defended.
He has compiled 12+ sacks in each of his last two seasons and has done everything for the Raiders’ defense. He was a finalist for NFL Defensive Player of the Year this past season but didn’t win it.
Crosby was picked in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Raiders and will be going into his sixth season in 2024.
He’ll try and help the Raiders have a better season after finishing 8-9 in 2023.
