Salisbury FC are looking to bounce back from a slew of defeats this Saturday, as they look to a solid FA Cup run.

After a dismal start to the season, Salisbury sit at 20th place in the Vanarama National League South, following three losses in a row.

The Whites will be away at AFC Stoneham, who play in the Wessex League Premier Division.

“We want our players to show a reaction,” asserted Brian Dutton.

Speaking to the Journal, Salisbury manager Brian Dutton said his team were “looking forward to their FA Cup adventure.”

Brian said: “We’ve had some poor results recently, but we’ve been out training, and the lads are in better spirits.”

The Whites most recent result was three to one loss at Farnborough, where Salisbury’s solitary score came from an own goal.

Referring to AFC Stoneham’s form going into this match, Brian asserted Salisbury “won’t be taking the game lightly.”

Stoneham have won three of their last four matches going into this weekend’s contest and their last result was a 4-2 demolition of Fleet Town.

Manager Brian confirmed his team would be training as if they would be playing Premier League opposition.

Brian said: “They’re a very good team with a lot of good results recently.”

Asked if his team would be looking out for any Stoneham player in particular, the manager said, “Jake Thompson.”
