Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Accused Of Acting Like Meghan Markle In Latest Video
Even though the Princess of Wales used her family to help her announce that she is now done with her chemotherapy treatments, a lot of people still can’t help but give the future queen of England and her husband Prince William the side eye for how they orchestrated their video.
That’s because it included a scene in which the two of them are holding hands and kissing and showing plenty of public displays of affection, which a lot of critics believe is something Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would do.
Not only that, but there were scenes that would even make King Charles and Queen Camilla cringe, as they would never behave like that in public.
What’s more, Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton can be seen in the video but apparently, the King and Queen of England didn’t agree to appear in it, too. And there’s a good reason behind it as well.
Did Kate Middleton Go A Little Too Far?
One source close to the situation put it this way, “There’s no coincidence that the Middletons appear in it and not the King and Queen.”
“I can assure you that Charles and Camilla will not be filmed kissing each other on a beach [as William and Catherine were] until hell freezes over. It’s distinctly unregal.”
Kate Middleton is being so heavily criticized for the video that some people are saying that it’s something Meghan Markle would have directed herself.
The insider also said, “All that lying round, hugging and kissing – they’re not soppy teenagers. It felt manipulative. It’s the sort of thing that Meghan would make.”
“All the time, effort and expense put into making the video could have been much better spent elsewhere. Why not visit other women being treated for cancer? That’s what Diana would have done.”

Meghan Markle Slammed for Trying to ‘Steal the Spotlight’ From Kate Middleton’s ‘Cancer-Free’ Announcement
“I understand why a lot of people do feel that way because we have seen Harry and Meghan’s oneupmanship in the past like when the Princess of Wales announced she’d attend Trooping the Colour and one of Meghan’s friends uploaded her dog biscuits on social media,” American royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told GB News.
“There are definite examples where it feels like Harry and Meghan are trying to steal the spotlight, it’s unfortunate. It’s especially unfortunate when this is such a beautiful video,” Schofield continued.
POLO is Harry’s brainchild, and the film is expected to highlight the elite sport.
“POLO is a new documentary series that follows elite global players and offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of the sport. From Archewell Productions and Boardwalk Pictures,” Netflix shared the post on X. “Premiering this December.”
However, Netflix’s tweet was seen as insensitive to Kate’s health update.
“Posting this straight after Catherine’s announcement about her cancer ensures that not only will I not watch this, I will also cancel Netflix,” one user wrote.
“Using a family member’s cancer to help try and promote this flop of a documentary, not cool Netflix,” another added.
