BREAKING: Arizona State football adds 4-star DB recruit Jalen Williams
Four-star defensive back recruit Jalen Williams announced his commitment to Arizona State football’s 2026 class on Saturday via social media.
Last month, Williams listed off his final five choices: ASU, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State.
Rivals ranked Williams the eighth best nickel in his class and No. 44 among all recruits out of Georgia.
As a junior at Kell High School this past fall, Williams played 12 games and accounted for 39 total tackles, two interceptions and six passes defensed, according to MaxPreps.
The 6-foot, 165-pound defensive back is the third four-star recruit in ASU’s 2026 class to this point. He joins tight end Israel Briggs and quarterback Jake Fette with that distinction.
The Sun Devils are in Year 3 under head coach Kenny Dillingham and looking to build on their 2024 run to the College Football Playoff.
ASU’s 2025 recruiting class is ranked No. 40 by Rivals and No. 55 by 247 Sports, while the 2026 class is considered top 26 in the nation by both outlets.
