The organization piqued the curiosity of many by posting a photo of a mysterious briefcase and asking fans, “What’s hiding in this briefcase?”

The post quickly generated numerous comments from fans hoping that the mysterious briefcase contains a contract for Ivan Demidov, who has been struggling in the KHL since the start of the season.

Let’s remember that, since the start of the season, Ivan Demidov has almost always been the 13th forward and plays barely 3-4 minutes per game, which is absolutely ridiculous and obviously terrible for his development.
Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton probably want him to come to Montreal (or Laval) as much as the rest of us, but with his KHL contract, it’s not that simple.
This is definitely a situation to watch closely.
