4-Star Class of 2026 Player Lists Michigan, Penn State Among College Finalists

The 2025 College Football Playoffs season is coming to a close, causing many Class of 2026 prospects to begin paring down their list of final schools.

Among them is Roanoke, Virginia native Jaziel Hart, a four-star cornerback from North Cross High School who made a key announcement on his future on social media Monday.

Hart, a 5-foot-11, 170 prospect, pared his list down to six schools including three Big Ten teams as he issued a thank you message to coaches who have spent their time recruiting him in recent months.

The list also includes two in-state ACC programs and a perennial SEC powerhouse.

“I Want to Thank EVERY SINGLE COACH who has offered or connected with me throughout this process!” Class of 2026 four-star cornerback Jaziel Hart wrote on X Monday. “Thankful,” he added with a red “heart” emoji.

“Down to my TOP 6 Schools,” he added with a “fire” emoji. “Recruitment still open, Commitment date coming soon,” he added with two exclamation point emojis.

Hart’s finalists include the Michigan Wolverines, Indiana Hoosiers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Virginia Cavaliers, Virginia Tech Hokies and Tennessee Volunteers.

One fan posted a graphic showing Michigan as ‘Player Development U,’ with 45 players taken during the last five NFL drafts, tops in all of college football while Hoosiers, Nittany Lions, Hokies and other fans all plead their case for Hart to commit to their respective schools.
