A statement has been made on Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser after a strong 2023-24 season.
The 2023-24 season was a big one for Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser as he set a new career high in goals and points, helping the team reach the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Unfortunately for Boeser and the Canucks, it was discovered that he was dealing with a blood clot in his leg stemming from a blocked shot and it forced him to miss Game 7 against the Edmonton Oilers.
In a post on social media on Friday, Big Head Hockey on X shared an interesting statistic that featured Brock Boeser. In their post, they shared that Brock Boeser is only the fourth player born in the state of Minnesota to score 40 or more goals in a single season during the salary cap era. On that list, Boeser joins Jason Blake, Zach Parise and New York Islanders captain Anders Lee.

Boeser, 27, finished the regular season with 73 points (40 goals, 33 assists), 14 penalty minutes and was a plus-23. He followed that up with 12 points (seven goals, five assists) in 12 games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
It’s going to be interesting to see what Brock Boeser has in store next season and who he ends up playing with to start the year in October. It’s probably safe to say J.T. Miller will be the centerman on his line, it’s just a matter of determining who the other winger will be, potentially either Jake DeBrusk or Nils Hoglander.
