Top recruit reclassifies and has interest in the Ohio State football program

One of the top recruits at wide receiver has reclassified and has an interest in Ohio State.

The Ohio State football program is known for having some of the best recruits in the country every single year. Specifically, the way they recruit wide receivers is second-to-none. If you want to be an elite receiver, you choose to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The track record that Brian Hartline has built over the years is undeniable. He produces first-round picks year after year. This year, Emeka Egbuka is likely to be the next first-round pick. Even though Hartline is now the offensive coordinator and play-caller, he’s still looking to bring in elite receivers.

One of the top receiver recruits in the country is Ethan Feaster. Feaster is a five-star recruit who just recently decided to reclassify from the 2027 class to the 2026 class. Feaster has also mentioned that he would like to make a visit to Ohio State and has indicated some interest in the program.

Despite his decision to reclassify, the Buckeyes wanted him to reconsider. That’s because Hartline wants what’s best for recruits at all times. This might actually help Ohio State gain some trust with him. If Ohio State shows that they are just looking out for his well-being, that could get them the inside track to land him.

Feaster doesn’t have any official visits scheduled anywhere yet, but he does want to make a visit to Columbus. Ohio State is definitely glad to have him on campus at some point. He is one of the best receiver recruits in the country for a reason, so they want to land him for next year if they can.

Ohio State already has one of the best receiver commits in the 2026 class committed to them. Chris Henry Jr. has been locked in with them for quite a while. Adding another five-star recruit would be super nice for them to be able to get.

The Buckeyes are going to start to really ramp up the 2026 recruiting once Spring ball starts in about a month. That’s when some visits will start to get scheduled.
