It’s worth noting that young Askarov has officially requested a trade, and that the Predators are currently trying to find him a new team, but there will be a lot of interest in the NHL.

He believes that Kent Hughes is one of the few NHL general managers with the necessary depth, in terms of prospects and draft picks, to make an acceptable offer for the Nashville Predators (and he’s right).
