Who does LSU play in the NCAA Tournament?

The LSU Lady Tigers will open the NCAA Tournament facing off against 14th Seeded San Diego out of the Mountain West. If the Lady Tigers handle business they’ll face off against the winner of Florida State Vs George Mason in Baton Rouge. The Aztecs are led by Veronica Sheffey who’s averaging 11.4Points Per Game

The path to the Final Four for LSU will most likely run through the Spokane Region’s Top Seeded team and the Top Overall seeded UCLA Bruins. The Bruins have been dominant all season long with a 30-2 record, which will make for a great potential matchup if the Lady Tigers are able to make it to that point. If UCLA were to somehow get eliminated early on, the Lady Tigers could have an intriguing matchup as Baylor is the 4th seed in the region which would pit Kim Mulkey against her former program.

LSU’s path to a strong NCAA Tournament depends on the health of All-SEC Selections Flau’Jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow. Johnson missed the entire SEC Tournament with a shin injury while Aneesah Morrow left LSU’s SEC Tournament game against Texas with an injury which she’s been dealing with wearing a boot.
