Nottingham Forest are now braced to receive a bid from Tottenham for one of the City Ground’s finest.
A strong end to the 2023/24 campaign under Nuno Espirito Santo saw several players step up and ensure the Reds remained in the Premier League, such as Murillo, Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
However, it was not the best timing for these stars to shine, as Nottingham Forest now find themselves being circled by vultures in the transfer market, who know the Garibaldi could use a major sale before June 30th due to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules (PSR).
With that knowledge in mind, Tottenham are now set to submit what is being described as a “huge” bid…
Tottenham set to make bid for Callum Hudson-Odoi
A story by Football Insider now claims that Tottenham are ready to make a significant offer to sign Hudson-Odoi.
The England international enjoyed a strong end to last season with three goals in three Premier League appearances, including a crucial double in the 3-1 win over Sheffield United to practically secure survival.
However, Hudson-Odoi’s impressive efforts have now attracted attention from Spurs, who the Guardian believe actually rejected the winger in 2023 before Nottingham Forest lured him to the City Ground.
