Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer took to the podium for the first time in Missouri game week Monday to preview the upcoming matchup with the Tigers, as well as take a look back at the loss to Tennessee.
During this weekly press conference, DeBoer gave a statement on Missouri in general, as well as provided a few injury updates entering the week to players such as Jalen Milroe and Keon Sabb, among others.
Taking a look at the former of those two topics however, here is everything that DeBoer said about the Tigers ahead of Saturday’s matchup against the Top 25 ranked program:
“Coach Drinkwitz, especially over the last two years, but I know it takes time for him to build to this, has done a great job,” DeBoer said. “Great football coach just as far as how he’s developing guys, and bringing the right people in to his program. Got some transfers that have added to a solid group of returning starters. 17-3 over the last two years. Just a resilient group. Won some close games, and so we’ve got another great task at hand as they’re always going to be in the SEC. Our guys are looking forward to the challenge. I know this week’s going to be one where we get back to work, and I want to bring a homecoming win back home for all of our fans and all our alumni.”
Alabama and Missouri will play Saturday from Tuscaloosa, with the game set to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
