Swinney Comments on Availability of DeMonte Capehart
Before suffering an injury against Louisville, DeMonte Capehart had been one of the anchors along the interior of the Clemson defensive line.
After that injury, Capehart would miss the next three games, before returning to play seven snaps against South Carolina. The following week, he logged 13 snaps in the ACC Championship Game against SMU.
With a week off between the win over the Mustangs and the matchup against Texas in the first round of the College Football Playoff, maybe Capehart sees the field a little more against the Longhorns.
Head coach Dabo Swinney did confirm during his weekly press conference on Monday, that Capehart has been practicing as the Tigers prep for Texas.
