If you are feeling down about the Los Angeles Rams’ future then maybe listen to what former Ram Andrew Whitworth has to say (you can see some links below)! Whitworth seems to like the direction of the team and he even compares Jared Verse to Terrell Suggs. Talk about high praise! Of course, I think Whitworth knows LA still has a way to go and Verse certainly has to build a career before he can be a Hall of Fame player, but despite the dark Monday night loss there is still some light for this team out in sunny California.

Rams Super Bowl champ excited for team’s future despite disappointing season (foxnews)
“If you look at it, that was game one for that group,” Andrew Whitworth told Fox News Digital in a recent interview, citing the team’s injuries early on and finally being healthy for the first time this past Monday. “It’s interesting, it really shows you how much being cohesive and being together matters… I look at this young defense and think they’re growing and getting better. Since the bye, they’ve turned things around. There’s still offseason holes where they have to get better, but to see the steps this group has taken up front, you have to feel really good about what the future of this could be.”
Jared Verse reminds Andrew Whitworth of this 7-time Pro Bowl pass rusher (ramswire)
“He reminds me – and they’re different – but he reminds me of Terrell Suggs, honestly,” Whitworth said via phone. “Because he plays with kind of a stature and power that when he hits guys and really the attitude and smack talk and everything, like the way he talks trash, it reminds me a lot of Suggs that when he finds – if you ever watched T-Suggs play, yeah, he’s a dominant player and you don’t want to run at him, you don’t want to leave tackles one-on-one because they’ll knock him into the quarterback and he’s not just making people whiff, but he’s overpowering guys into the quarterback that when he found a fish or he found, like, ‘Uh-oh, this guy doesn’t handle it well and I’m talking trash and I’m bringing it.’ It’s like T-Suggs would have a three-sack, four-sack game. He would just dominate a guy and (Verse) has that ability.”
Rams land top offensive lineman in latest mock draft (sportingnews)
“Protecting Stafford will be paramount to the team’s success moving forward, and our own Vinnie Iyer projected a top pass protector in his latest 2025 mock draft earlier today for the Rams. Iyer predicted Los Angeles to take Kelvin Banks, an offensive tackle from Texas with the selection.
Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas (6-4, 324 pounds)
Iyer noted: “The Rams will be in the market for some left tackle help next year, and Sean McVay should like what he sees in Banks’ combination of strength and agility.”
