Suzuki is therefore being considered in Team Canada’s plans, unlike Caufield with Team USA (at least for now).
Logically, when considering playing style and all relevant factors, it seems the decision could ultimately come down to Nick Suzuki versus Robert Thomas.
Personally, I lean toward the Habs captain.
Suzuki, aged 25, has 19 points in 19 games this season, following a 77 point performance in 82 games last season (plus/minus -1).
Thomas, also 25, has 8 points in 9 games this season, after tallying 86 points in 82 games last season (plus/minus -4).
What do you think? Does Nick Suzuki deserve to be part of Team Canada’s final roster for the Four Nations Tournament?
Here are the roster projections from Daily Faceoff , and guess what? They’ve got Nick Suzuki as the 4th line center.
