Arch Manning’s Emotional Farewell to Texas Star Before Career Decision
The Texas Longhorns’ College Football Playoff run was cut short in the semifinals for the second straight season after falling to the Ohio State Buckeyes 28-14 in the Cotton Bowl.
Now, it seems likely that quarterback Quinn Ewers will make his way out of Austin, Texas, making way for backup quarterback Arch Manning to take over the offense in the 2025 season.
But Manning has lost some key players to the 2025 NFL Draft, including someone he considers a close friend in offensive lineman Jake Majors.
Majors announced his decision to enter his name into the draft on Instagram.
“As I begin the next chapter of my life, I am officially declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft,” Majors wrote. “I embrace this opportunity and challenge knowing that the Good Lord is by my side, just as He has always been my guiding light.”
