The Blue Jays apparently have the top offer on the table for Burnes but have yet to hear back from him or his agent Scott Boras as he is hoping the San Francisco Giants will raise their offer.

According to a most recent announcement, Burnes is taking his time making his decision and there is a possibility that he only finally makes his decision after the Christmas Holidays.

This is no surprise to the majority of the fanbase who has been stating that the Blue Jays will have a tough time signing free agents even if they make massive offers because the front-office does not seem to want to win.
The Blue Jays are in a tough spot because they are struggling to land big free agent players because of how the team is being run but at the same time they can’t improve the roster because no one wants to come here.
