Lorraine Kelly has opened up about what David Beckham is really like after spying him at Wimbledon on Monday 1 July.
The Scottish host, 64, led the stars at day one of the annual tennis competition, where David, 49, was in attendance with his his mother Sandra. Talking everything Wimbledon on Tuesday’s episode of Lorraine, the presenter revealed that she was sat opposite David.
Lorraine said: “You know what, a lot of people were asking for his autograph because we were right opposite, obviously we weren’t in the the royal box, we were right opposite and loads of people were coming up asking for autographs.
“He was really kind and signing, he was signing big giant balls. In Wimbledon, you can buy these great big giant balls and then you sign them. Yeah, signing balls!” Lorraine, wore wore a stylish blue floral gown, took to Instagram on Monday night to post a snap from the event, writing: “Glorious Wimbledon afternoon – what a treat!”

It comes as David looked dapper as ever as he arrived at Wimbledon for the first day of tennis on Monday. The iconic annual event at SW19 is underway once again with an array of celebrities watching the world’s best take to centre court.
David is a regular at the tournament and looked smart in a dapper BOSS suit. He looked sleek in the bespoke beige two-piece as he paired it with a blue cotton shirt and golden tie. The suit choice comes just days after he signed a mega deal to be the luxury brand’s global ambassador. He opted for a pair of smart sunglasses from his own DB Eyewear range to accessorise.
Elsewhere, David was also seen having a chat with veteran TV broadcaster and biologist Sir David Attenborough. The 98-year-old looked amazing as he was all smiles while wearing a navy suit and white shirt combo. He paired it with a multi-coloured patterned tie.
Other celebrities in attendance included Myleene Klass and Kirsty Gallacher, both of whom opted for the crisp summer outfits. Elsewhere, Sir Cliff Richard gave the thumbs up to photographers as he turned up at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
