Scottie Scheffler’s caddie is going through it at the Open Championship on Friday.
According to the broadcast, Scheffler’s caddie, Ted Scott, is severely under the weather. He has been seen lying down in between holes while Scheffler is hitting.
Even Scheffler’s partners, Shane Lowry and Matt Fitzpatrick, have come over at times to check on Scott.
Here’s a couple of photos:
Despite being sick, Scott is battling it out to try and help Scheffler win golf’s final major of the year.
The Open Championship is taking place at Royal Troon Golf Club in the United Kingdom and so far, Scheffler is off to a good start. He’s currently two-under par and is tied for fourth overall.
He’s five shots behind leader Shane Lowry and will try to get closer to him throughout Friday’s second round.
Hopefully, Scott is able to feel better to end the second round and into the latter two rounds on Saturday and Sunday.
Friday’s coverage of the Open Championship will be on USA before NBC takes over for Saturday and Sunday. Let’s see who takes home this prestigious major.
