The Egg Bowl rivalry takes zero days off.
Friday morning was a whirlwind for Ole Miss fans after rumors of an ACL injury to Heisman hopeful quarterback Jaxson Dart circulated on Mississippi State message boards.
The rumors made their way from message boards to social media, where they really began to pick up steam. Fortunately, the fires were quickly put out as Ole Miss Football posted a picture of Dart on the practice field with the caption, “Always putting in work.”
Ole Miss fans can rest assured knowing that Dart remains as healthy as ever as the team begins to ramp for its season opener against Furman, set to take place Aug. 31.
Bulldog fans should have plenty to discuss with new head coach Jeff Leby and transfer quarterback Blake Shapen, beginning a new era in Starkville. But Mississippi State continues to exude little brother energy while going to great lengths to attempt to take the wind out of the Rebels’ sails.
