Aston Villa should not worry about Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White’s previous injuries ahead of a potential transfer, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert states that the major setbacks happened a couple of seasons ago and last campaign, he played 37 out of 38 Premier League games.
This comes after HITC reported on 24 May that Villa are keeping close tabs on the future of the 24-year-old English attacker.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“He had a couple of pretty serious injuries back in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns which saw him miss a considerable amount of games.
“Considering he was able to play 37 out of 38 games, I don’t believe those injuries are too concerning.
“For the 21/22 season, he likely got into a vicious in-season injury cycle but he was able to get through it and over it and should not be a worry for any club wanting to sign him.“
Aston Villa must explore Morgan Gibbs-White transfer
Gibbs-White would be a good signing for Villa due to his proven Premier League experience and versatility.
His ability to play across the front three and in midfield provides Unai Emery with tactical flexibility.
The 24-year-old bagged five goals and 10 assists in the league last season and would add much-needed depth in the attack.
In other Aston Villa news, a groundbreaking transfer claim has emerged as the Villans are now keen on signing a two-time Champions League-winning attacking midfielder.
