It has been almost a month since Sheffield Wednesday last dipped into the transfer market.
The Owls enjoyed a busy first half of the transfer window as they snapped up nine new players.
Sheffield Wednesday fans have all been waiting for the arrival of one player though, with Ike Ugbo now said to be closing in on a £3 million return to the club.
Wednesday’s signings are about to hit double figures, but they aren’t expected to be done there.
Danny Rohl previously admitted that he wanted to bolster the defence and midfield, while his hand could be forced if someone like Michael Smith or Mallik Wilks was sold.
The final weeks of the window are always tough, with many of their targets likely to earn themselves moves or commit to their current clubs.
However, there are a handful that are still available and could be ready to move to Hillsborough if contacted.

3 Sheffield Wednesday targets who are still available
Sory Kaba
Sheffield Wednesday reportedly expressed interest in Kaba earlier this summer as they began to look at Ugbo alternatives.
The striker only scored once for Las Palmas last season, but he previously netted eight times in 17 outings for Cardiff City.
The Owls’ interest didn’t progress any further, before it was reported last week that an unnamed Championship club had had a £1.3m bid accepted for Kaba.
The 29-year-old is yet to leave Las Palmas though and could be available for half the price of Ugbo.
Scott Wright
Wednesday previously looked highly likely to sign Wright, who was expected to leave Rangers this summer.
It was reported a month ago that the Owls were set to complete a deal for the winger ‘in the next 48 hours’, but that quite clearly didn’t come to fruition.
Wednesday are one of a number of clubs who had held interest in Wright, but everything has since gone quiet and he is currently still on Rangers’ books.
Karamoko Dembele
Wednesday were thought to be one of a number of clubs who had been offered Dembele, while it was also reported last month that the Yorkshire outfit had made their own bid to Brest.
Derby County now look to be in pole position to sign the youngster though, while Birmingham City are also said to be closing in.
Dembele bagged eight goals and 13 assists last term and is now keen to make the jump up to the Championship.
The 21-year-old would be a brilliant signing for the Owls, but there would be a concern that they now have too many options out wide.
Myles Peart-Harris
The Owls have been interested in Peart-Harris since January, when he had rejected them to join Portsmouth.
The Brentford man is available once again this summer and Rohl has now revived his interest.
Wednesday do need a new midfielder in their ranks, however Peart-Harris is more of a No.10 and the club are arguably stacked up in that position.
Duncan McGuire
After failing to land McGuire in January, it was expected that the Owls could go back in for him this summer.
However, their sights were very clearly set on Ugbo and it now looks like McGuire could be off their radar all together as they close in on the Canadian.
The US international, who has seven goals this season, could be a good alternative, but certainly won’t be bought alongside Ugbo.
