David Ozoh has received all the plaudits following Derby County’s win over Bristol City.
The Rams picked up their second home win in a row as they thrashed the Robins, with Ozoh, Kenzo Goudmijn and Kayden Jackson chipping in with the goals.
It was the midfielder’s first goal since joining Derby County on loan from Crystal Palace, but it wasn’t just his display up front of net that impressed.
Ozoh enjoyed an exceptional 100% pass accuracy – completing 25 passes. He also had 100% dribble success rate, as well as making the most successful tackles on the pitch (6) and three interceptions.
The 19-year-old was awarded a 8.5 rating by Derbyshire Live and was hailed as ‘fascinating’, ‘strong’ and ‘athletic’.
Everyone impressed by Ozoh performance
The goal really topped off an excellent performance for Ozoh, who was quick to take to Instagram following the win.
He wrote: “First professional goal + 3 points! Unreal performance from the boys! Up the Rams 🤍”.
Ozoh was then flooded with responses from both his Derby County and Crystal Palace teammates.

Ozoh could be huge for Derby County this season
Ozoh was believed to be a promising talent when he chose to join Derby and it was certainly a good sign when it was reported by South London Press that Luton Town had wanted him on a permanent deal.
The Rams did well to snap him up though and it is really hard to believe that he hasn’t had at least one full season in senior football.
Ozoh doesn’t look out of his depth in the Championship and is likely to be a huge player for Paul Warne’s side going forwards.
If he can stay fit and consistent then he will be one player who can give Derby a real good chance at a decent campaign.
