Full NFL Combine schedule for Miami football stars this week in Indianapolis
Miami kicker Andres Borreagales was the first former Hurricane to participate at the 2025 NFL Combine on Wednesday. The bulk of the 2025 NFL Combine begins on Thursday when defensive linemen and linebackers will participate beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
Defensive lineman Tyler Baron and linebacker Francisco Mauigoa will represent Miami at the NFL Combine on Thursday. Baron and Mauigoa both met with the media earlier this week. Among the topics they discussed were Mauigoa responding to a question about former Hurricanes’ LB coach Derek Nicholson and Baron discussing transferring to Miami.
Defensive backs and tight ends take their turn being tested at the NFL Combine on Friday. Miami TE Elijah Arroyo was scheduled to compete at the NFL Combine, but a knee injury will keep him out of the drills. Arroyo did speak to the media this week and was asked about what leadership means to him, his work ethic and Cam Ward as a teammate.
Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Combine is on Saturday with quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs participating. Ward, RB Damien Martinez and WRs Sam Brown, Jacolby George and Xavier Restrepo are at the Combine from Miami. There is speculation Ward will not throw at the Combine.
Jalen Rivers will be the sole offensive lineman to represent Miami at the 2025 NFL Combine. Rivers was one of several Miami players who participated at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. last month. Rivers started at both guard positions and left tackle for Miami. Rivers’ versatility should help him in the NFL.
The NFL Mock Draft Database projects Ward in the first round, Arroyo in the second round, Restrepo in the third round, Martinez in the fifth, Baron and Rivers in the fifth and defensive tackle Simeon Barrow who is not invited to the NFL Combine in the seventh. Borregales, Brown, George and Mauigoa are projected as undrafted free agents.
