Wisconsin and Ohio State going toe-to-toe with elite 4-star LB
Wisconsin and Ohio State continue to battle both on the field and off the field. Being in the same conference and recruiting in the same high schools, these two tend to battle it out for recruits all the time. This time it’s for an up and coming linebacker, CJ Sanna, who has been slowly garnering huge interest around the country. He’s recently added offers from Wake Forest and Oklahoma. However, he has only scheduled visits to the Buckeyes and the Badgers, so far.
4-star LB CJ Sanna has scheduled two official visits – to Ohio State and Wisconsin
Sanna has scheduled an official visit with Wisconsin on June 12-15. They will be checking out the Buckeyes on May 30th. The good news is that the Badgers will get the second impression for the rising linebacker. While 24/7 has logged a crystal ball for Sanna to land with Ohio State. Lately, there’s been a little love from Sanna to the Badgers.
The fact that he wants to check out LBU is an important development in his recruitment. Wisconsin was one of the first to offer him and have been recruiting him far longer than the Buckeyes, who only offered him about a month ago.
Sanna is a versatile linebacker with a 3-star rating on 24/7 but a 4-star rating on On3. He’s getting attention from many of the top programs, such as Wisconsin and Ohio State. There are also Michigan State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, and many others. It shows that maybe his rating will only continue to go up, that he flew under the radar for a bit.
There’s no guarantee that he doesn’t add more visits but for now it looks like the battle will be between the Buckeyes and the Badgers and Luke Fickell is hoping to come out on top of this one.
