Sherrone Moore Sends Message to Michigan Fans After Latest Class of 2026 Commitment

The Michigan Wolverines have become one of the most highly sought after destinations for high school football recruits, culminating in a top ten class for 2025.

Now, coach Sherrone Moore’s Wolverines are busy putting together a 2026 class that fans hope will catapult Michigan to the top of the Big Ten, and college football, for many years to come.

On Friday, Michigan secured its latest four-star and above offensive line commit, this time from SEC country, leading the Wolverines’ head man to share a tweet with the team’s fans underscoring his excitement on his team’s latest pledge.

“Yes Sir! #GoBlue #SMASH,” Moore wrote with a blue orb emoji and a fist emoji after the commitment of four-star interior offensive lineman Bear McWhorter, who pledged to Michigan as a member of the Cass High School team from Cartersville, Georgia.

Another Michigan commitment, three-star receiver Jaylen Pile of Dallas, Texas, also responded in the comments section.

“Hail Yeah Coach,” he wrote with a sloping block M emoji.

The Wolverines remain behind many top Division-I schools among the Class of 2026 recruiting rankings as they have secured just three commitments counting McWhorter’s Friday decision.

McWhorter is reportedly a lifelong Alabama fan who was named after the program’s legendary former head coach, Bear Bryant.

He stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 308 pounds with offers from Alabama, Penn State and Florida State among other well known schools.
