Point Spread: Hoosiers Head West as Slight Favorites at Washington

SEATTLE, Wash. — Indiana has waltzed its way back into the NCAA Tournament conversation, but their work is still not done. The Hoosiers have three regular season games left, and they still need wins.
That quest starts on Saturday night against Washington. The Hoosiers, winners of three of four, play the Huskies at 6 p.m. ET, and this is a must-win against Washington, who is dead last in the Big Ten.
The Hoosiers, who were underdogs in 11 straight games before beating Penn State as a favorite on Wednesday night in Bloomington, are favored again. According to the oddsmakers at FanDuel.com, Indiana is a 1.5-point favorite, and the over/under is 145.5
Indiana has grabbed a few nice road victories in the Big Ten, beating Ohio State and No. 11 Michigan State in true road games, and also beat Penn State in Philadelphia, which was considered a road game. Indiana’s final regular season road game is Tuesday night at Oregon. They finish the season next Saturday at home against Ohio State.
Washington has struggled in its first season in the Big Ten. The Huskies have won just four league games, and are 2-7 a home. They are 3-6 against the spread in Big Ten home games. The Hoosiers have been playing well lately, so this seems like a good spot for them.
Hoosiers Oumar Ballo (Arizona), Myles Rice (Washington State) and Kanaan Carlyle (Stanford) have all played against Washington before.
Junior forwarkd Malik Reneau, who missed the Penn State game with an illness, made the trip to the West Coast and worked out with the team earlier Saturday at Alaska Airlines Arena. He is not on the Hoosiers’ official injury report, which means he shiould be good to go.
