Where Clemson landed in the NET rankings after an ACC road win over Boston College
Clemson extended its impressive ACC winning streak to seven games with a 78-69 victory over Boston College on Wednesday, maintaining its No. 22 position in the NET rankings.
Jaeden Zackery led the Tigers with a game-high 21 points in his return to Chestnut Hill after transferring from BC. Head coach Brad Brownell praised Zackery’s consistency, highlighting how his play has allowed Chase Hunter to relax and focus more on scoring. Viktor Lakhin added a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Hunter chipped in 18 points.
Clemson came out strong, building a 16-point lead late in the first half, but Boston College fought back, narrowing the gap to just three points with a little over five minutes left. That’s when the Tigers tightened up defensively, forcing missed shots and key turnovers to seal the win. The victory ties Clemson’s single-season record with 25 wins and extends the team’s ACC road winning streak to eight games, while also matching a program-best seven straight ACC wins.
The Tigers now hold a 4-2 record in Quad 1, with wins over Kentucky (No. 13), Duke (No. 1), and Pitt (No. 61). Their Quad 2 record stands at 7-2, Quad 3 at 8-1, and they remain undefeated in Quad 4 with a 5-0 mark. With their consistent success across all quadrants, Clemson’s NCAA Tournament outlook is looking brighter as they close out the regular season.
