Molly-Mae Hague has said she is entering a “new era” following her split from fiancé Tommy Fury. The former Love Island star has opened up about launching her new clothing brand Maebe while being a mum to daughter Bambi, one, after she and Tommy decided to end their five-year relationship.
Molly, 25, and Tommy, also 25, announced they’d ended their relationship in August, taking fans by surprise. Neither has shared details about their break-up, with Molly solely focusing on her new business venture. The influencer is due to launch her first clothing brand later this month, after weeks of teasing her fanbase on social media.
Speaking at the launch of her fashion label, Molly revealed she’s entering a “new era” and her latest venture has allowed her to find “confidence”. She also revealed how much she’s changed since welcoming daughter Bambi in January 2023.
Molly told MailOnline: “When I became a mum, I changed a lot as a person and different things became important to me in terms of fashion, it was the right time to launch Maebe. I was really ready to sink my teeth into something new. I have a really good feeling about this new era of my life and think it’s going to be so special and a great thing for me to focus on and put my time into as well as being a mum to Bambi.”
She admitted that the launch of Maebe has come at the “perfect” time and everything has “aligned perfectly”. The 25 year old also said she feels Maebe has the potential to be “huge” and be a well-known brand.
“I feel so empowered. The whole experience of building the brand has been so empowering for me. It has given me a lot of confidence and taught me to be more of a businesswoman,” she added. “I can say how I actually feel and speak up. I have always been a soft person and go with the flow, if I don’t like something I can usually be quite withdrawn.
“I have grown up and it’s given me the chance to be focused and driven. I have more confidence now to say how I feel. I am in my yes era.”
Molly’s comments come after it was reported that her pals are now worried she might be letting Tommy back into her life, following their sudden split. A source told Heat magazine that Molly has “been at rock bottom” and in a state of “complete shock” over the past few weeks, but Tommy has reportedly been doing everything he can to win her back.
According to Heat, the pair are planning a ‘make-or-break’ holiday to the Maldives to see if they can mend their relationship. This has left friends feeling “worried”.
Molly and Tommy met on Love Island in 2019 and amassed a huge fanbase in the years that followed. The pair welcomed their daughter Bambi in 2023 and months later Tommy proposed, with the pair planning to tie the knot in 2025. However, in August, Molly released a statement via Instagram saying their relationship was over and has since told fans she won’t be discussing the split.
