Alabama DL recognized as college football’s highest graded returning DT
Alabama football defensive lineman, Tim Keenan III has been recognized by Pro Focus Football as the highest graded returning defensive tackle in all of college football.
Keenan III has appeared in 29 games and registered two pass breakups, three and a half sacks, nine quarterback hurries, and nine tackles for loss, along with 79 total tackles over the last two seasons. This trajectory by the Alabama native has showcased his increasing influence on the Crimson Tide’s defensive front and this is why PFF is confident in listing Keenan as the highest-graded returning defensive tackle in the country.
Keenan III now prepares for his senior campaign with aspirations of bringing a national championship back to Tuscaloosa to close out his collegiate career.
“I put my trust in God,” Keenan told reporters when asked about his decision to return for a fifth year. “I believe in the guys here, believe in the coaches here. I believe in the system. I really believe in the University of Alabama. I told myself and I told Coach Saban when I came to University of Alabama, I’m gonna leave with a championship.”
