The Las Vegas Raiders are severely banged up heading into Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
They won’t have the services of star pass rusher Maxx Crosby or star wide receiver Davante Adams. In addition, they’ll be without tight end Michael Mayer.
Adams is battling a hamstring injury but some fans think Adams is out because he wants to be traded.
“I hear there are doctors in East Rutherford that can have his hamstring back to 100% in no time,” one tweet read.
“Davante Adams (doesn’t want to play for the Raiders anymore) out Week 4,” another tweet read.
“This might as well say the Jets have traded for D. Adams,” another fan tweeted.
“Just demand the trade bro,” another fan tweeted.
While it’s an interesting theory, Adams is legit hurt and will have to work his way back for the Raiders’ next game against the Denver Broncos. He’s been one of the Raiders’ best players this season, compiling 18 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown in their first three games.
The Raiders will try and bounce back against the Browns on Sunday after getting humiliated against the Carolina Panthers last week.
Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET. CBS will have regional coverage of the contest.
