David Pollack Sends Cryptic Message on Georgia Making Significant Changes After Loss

The Georgia Bulldogs could be headed for a college football offseason full of changes. Dawgs legend David Pollack indicated there are changes coming in Athens, Ga. after the team’s 23-10 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the College Football Playoff.

Georgia’s offense was unable to find any traction with quarterback Carson Beck sidelined with an elbow injury. The Bulldogs will have a new starting quarterback next season as Beck heads to the NFL Draft, and it remains to be seen if Gunner Stockton did enough to emerge as the QB1 favorite for 2025.

Pollack noted that there are also likely changes coming to the Georgia coaching staff without detailing who Kirby Smart would be moving on from in the coming days.

“I’m not going to say what the position [is] or anything,” Pollack explained during his podcast on Thursday. “I’m going to make this as veiled as possible, but I think there will be several changes to the Georgia staff.

“I think that’s coming. That’s already been talked about, and it’s already coming down the pipe and that will come out soon.”

Few people are as connected to the Georgia program as Pollack who was a two-time All-American as a Bulldogs pass rusher from 2002 to 2004. Georgia could also be impacted by the portal as players have five days after their bowl game to transfer.
