Leeds United have made a strong and purposeful start to the summer transfer window, moving with real intent to strengthen Daniel Farke’s squad.

Marseille’s Need to Sell Opens Door for Leeds
One of the most bankable assets still on Marseille’s books is Brazilian winger Igor Paixao, a player who has long been on Leeds United’s radar. The French club are now even more motivated to cash in on him before the window closes.
Leeds have already held talks with Paixao’s representatives about a potential move. Those discussions have not yet produced an agreement, largely because the Brazilian has been reluctant to leave Marseille after just one season at the club. Why Igor Paixao Would Be a Steal at £30m
Reports suggest that a fee in the region of £30 million could be enough to prise Paixao away from Marseille. Given the financial pressure the French club are under, that figure may even prove negotiable. For a player of his age, ability and potential, such a fee would represent excellent value in the current market.
Premier League clubs regularly pay significantly more for attackers with less proven quality or lower ceilings. Securing Paixao at or around that price would therefore be viewed as a shrewd piece of business by Leeds supporters and the hierarchy at Elland Road.
