While the Boston Bruins take their time getting around to goalie Jeremy Swayman, the work must continue.
As you can see today, Swayman was working out on ice at Warrior Ice Arena, the Bruins’ practice facility.
GM Don Sweeney may be taking his time to negotiate with the goalie, as he officially has until December 1st until Swayman can no longer suit up for the Bruins if Swayman rejects the offer and doesn’t sign a contract.
Sweeney should have a sense of urgency, with Swayman’s camp, despite the variables involved with his next contract, as the Boston Bruins’ starting goalie.
Swayman has earned the #1 spot in Boston, recording a 25-10-8 record, 2.53 GAA, and a .916 save percentage.
While in the playoffs, 12-6-0, 2.15 GAA, and .933 save percentage.
GM Don Sweeney better lock him down, before someone sends an offer sheet.
