ESPN Makes Paige Bueckers Announcement Ahead of March Madness

Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies are entering this year’s NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed after notching a 31-3 record and a Big East Tournament championship title in 2024-25.

Bueckers finished the season as the Big East Player of the Year for the third time in her historic college basketball career, averaging 19.0 points, 4.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Before entering the WNBA ranks as the presumed No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft, Bueckers is now suiting up for one more NCAA Tournament run with Geno Auriemma and the Huskies.

Bueckers and a couple of her UConn teammates — Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd — will join ESPN’s “SportsCenter” to discuss their upcoming NCAA Tournament campaign on Tuesday night.

“Tuesday, @UConnWBB stars Paige Bueckers, Sarah Strong & Azzi Fudd stop by ESPN HQ! They’ll join @elleduncanESPN & @KevinNegandhi on the 6p ET edition of @SportsCenter. Followed by a visit to @FreddieandHD on ESPN Radio, Sirius XM Ch 80. Catch extra coverage across ESPN social,” ESPN PR wrote in an announcement on X.
