LSU and Brian Kelly just landed nation’s No. 1 Wide Receiver over Alabama, Tennessee, and many others
This week was a massive week for the LSU Football program on the recruiting trail as LSU hosted several top recruits with Battle 7 on 7 making its way to New Orleans. The Tigers didn’t land any commitments this weekend but, there was a ton of momentum for the Tigers as they made headway with several recruits.
The storyline leaving the weekend was LSU landing a crystal ball prediction to land elite wide receiver Boobie Feaster. After Ja’Marr Chase became the highest paid Non-Quarterback in the NFL, LSU got the Nation’s top wide receiver recruit on campus as Tristen Keys visited LSU. The timing may have been important for LSU with Keys coming to town as Wide Receiver U solidified its standing once again.
5-Star Tristen Keys commits to LSU in massive recruiting win for Brian Kelly
On Tuesday, Brian Kelly and LSU landed the Nation’s Top Wide Receiver Tristen Keys in a massive recruiting battle beating out a field consisting of Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas A&M among many others.

Landing Tristen Keys is massive for the LSU Football program as it gives LSU the Nation’s top-ranked recruiting class surpassing USC and Oregon. According to On3’s Industry Recruiting Rankings, Tristen Keys is ranked as the 3rd ranked player in the class, the top ranked wide receiver in the class, and the top player out of Mississippi.
The 2025 recruiting cycle, was a massive disappointment for LSU at the wide receiver position as LSU saw the Nation’s best receiver Dakorien Moore commit and decommit while LSU lost four-star Derek Meadows to Alabama on National Signing Day. This recruiting cycle Cortez Hankton has upped his game, landing a commitment from Tristen Keys while holding commitments from In-State stars Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson.
How LSU finishes out this class will be interesting to see especially at the wide receiver position. Given that LSU now has three commitments, it may be hard to get additional wide receivers on board but, LSU holds a crystal ball prediction to land Boobie Feaster while Destrehan has another four-star wide receiver Jabari Mack.
Brian Kelly has literally put his money where his mouth is helping LSU compete on the NIL Front and the Tigers are now seeing the reward as the Tigers nabbed an elite transfer class and are on a recruiting tear.
