Indiana head coach Darian DeVries joins the Jim Rome Show in latest episode

The nationally syndicated “The Jim Rome Show” hosted Indiana Hoosiers head men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries yesterday on his latest episode.
Indiana hired DeVries to replace Mike Woodson two weeks ago and DeVries is hustling this off-season to make Indiana Basketball Great Again.
“When it’s Indiana, and you say it to yourself or anybody else… That brand and that opportunity, the resources… It was just something I couldn’t pass up,”DeVries told Jim Rome.
Obviously, my intention was to continue down that path and build on the progress we made during this first year. However, the opportunity to possibly be the head coach at Indiana came along—a dream job for anyone, but especially for someone who grew up in the Midwest watching the old Big 8 and Big 10 basketball,” DeVries said at his opening press conference
In his lone season at WVU, DeVries led West Virginia to a 19-13 overall record, finishing 10-10 in the Big 12.
Prior to taking over in Morgantown, DeVries was the head coach at Drake for six seasons, helping the Bulldogs to three NCAA tournament appearances in his final four seasons. DeVries had a 155-50 record over that span.
Jim Rome recently launched “The Jim Rome FAST Channel” with A+E Networks. The channel is available across seven major platforms, including Amazon Freevee (also accessible through Prime Video and Fire TV), DIRECTV, LG Channels, Plex, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream, and VIZIO WatchFree+.
