‘We chose the hard’: No. 13 Arkansas softball embracing grind entering series at No. 2 Florida

FAYETTEVILLE — The last time the Arkansas softball team hit the road to face a highly-ranked opponent, it came home with newfound energy and momentum.

A series victory at then-No. 7 Tennessee propelled the Razorbacks to a 6-1 run that most recently includes a sweep over Kentucky last weekend in Fayetteville. It was the team’s first SEC sweep since March 31-April 2, 2023, at Mississippi State.

No. 13 Arkansas (26-7, 6-6 SEC) will look to continue its surge and replicate the road success when it faces No. 2 Florida in a three-game series. Game 1 is scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m. Central at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.

After beginning conference play 1-5, the Razorbacks have improved their SEC record to .500.
