Lamar Jackson Shuts Down Injury Concerns After Ravens-Steelers

The Baltimore Ravens moved on with a 28-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.

It was another masterful performance from Derrick Henry, who had 26 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns.

NFL MVP candidate Lamar Jackson threw for 175 yards with two scores and rushed for 81 yards on 15 carries as the Ravens led from start to finish.

In the second quarter, Jackson took a knee to his back from one Steelers defender.

After the game, Jackson spoke on the hit and shut down any further injury concerns, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

“I’m good,” Jackson said. “It really didn’t affect me at all, to be honest with you. Just a little nag, but I’m good. Nothing to worry about.”

Jackson then mentioned wrapping it with a heat pad during the rest of the game, although he didn’t seem bothered by the hit at all.

Jackson didn’t throw a touchdown in the second half, although the Ravens went run-heavy with a 21-0 halftime lead.

Ravens fans should be relieved that Jackson didn’t suffer a serious injury in the game.

For now, Baltimore waits to see who the next opponent will be, but at least Jackson doesn’t seem to be dealing with any injury issues going into the next round.
